Alta Via Canavesana: Tappa 2A Colle Croce d'Intror - Bivio con tappa 2 presso Alpe Vaccarezza

From the Colle della croce d'Intror (1947 m) on the ETON409B route junction, we turn left onto the ETON411A and soon reach the Refuge Peretti Griva (1821 m) where overnight accommodation and food is available. From here we continue halfway up the hillside to the alpine pastures of Pian Frigerole (1809 m). Having passed the houses, we keep left onto route ETON409A, as signposted, which again halfway up the hillside crosses the streams of the River Tessiolo to reach Alpe Vaccarezza Inferiore (1871 m.); we now go up route ETON409 coming from Alpe Cialma of Locana, and along a steep pathway we first reach Alpe Vaccarezza superiore (1999 m) and then further on, the junction with route ETON409B where we take a left onto ETON408B.
