Visitor Centre
The center describes the geomorphology of the Park: the environmental modifying agents including man, the composition of the rocks and their degradation, the alpine evolution are the food for thought offered to the visitor. The conformation of the landscape is also connected to the habits of the Park’s best-known animals such as the ibex, the chamois, the marmot and the eagle.
At Noasca is the first Environmental Education Centre of the Park (CEA), entirely dedicated to people looking for a special, emotion-filled contact with nature. It’s one of the most beautiful, and most valuable protected environments anywhere in Europe, where patience, respect and love for the environment are rewarded with unforgettable natural scenery.
The CEA is certainly one of the prides of Valle Orco. At the Centre, the special areas for educational activities and creative play about the environment, the equipment and the naturalistic collections make it possible to create tailormade projects of any length, such as themes for school camps.
The CEA consists of polyvalent structures spaces and a residential structure accessible to the disabled.
