Urban Park

The park, a large green patch in the Mirafiori Sud area, is located on the grounds of the former Mirafiori airport, inaugurated in June 1911 for air connections to Milan, Rome and Venice.
In addition to the Children’s Citadel (an equipped area of about 1000 square meters dedicated to children’s games), there are more than 5 kilometres of paths, 150 benches, a teaching room, over 3000 trees and shrubs, 3 ponds and 4 wooden bridges, a geyser consisting of 5 jets of water about 16 meters high (in the area between via Artom and via Castello di Mirafiori).
