CIMA BOSCO

A route with a rather limited distance and difference in altitude but unlimited enjoyment. We start from Sauze di Cesana, next to the Ripa river: from here, along a dirt track of constant slope, we immediately start our climb to Cima del Bosco, where the Argentera and Thuras valleys meet. The climb stops at 2380m, having reached the chapel built on the top of the mountain: its position gives us wide open space all around, so you feel you are on a balcony overlooking the beautiful panorama of the Alta Val Susa. We descend along an enjoyable path and reach the village of Thures from where we can reach Bousson via an asphalted road and return to our departure point.
