For centuries, the Alps have been a place of encounter, of exchange of knowledge, skills, knowledge, a transit territory where cultures and traditions meet and give rise to new knowledge and experiences. The "Turismo del Gusto" is a project for the valorisation, innovation and preservation of typical products and cuisine of the Italy-France cross-border mountain territory between the Province of Torino, Savoie and Haute Savoie.
The project is based on the valorisation of local agricultural products and the savoir faire in terms of the processing of these products by restaurateurs. The area involved includes the Alpine valleys of the Province of Torino (Val Pellice, Val Chisone, Val Germanasca, Val di Susa, Valli di Lanzo, Valli Orco e Soana, Valchiusella) Savoy and Upper Savoy.
